Today’s the big day….the announcement of the new Apple tablet.

At FCPDaily we’re curious how the tablet will change (or evolve) post-production and editing on a Mac.   Will it run Final Cut Pro?  Those who have gotten to take it for a test drive in recent days are already saying it will change computing in the same way that the iPhone was a paradigm shift for cell phones:  http://twitter.com/jason and http://twitter.com/mattprd

Here’s one blogger’s take on it from September of 2009…in which he speculates that the tablet could be used as an editing interface to be coupled with a traditional Mac computer.

We’ll take a look at what the addition of a tablet might mean for post-production later this week…until then follow coverage of the announcement at TUAW or Engadget.
